Indonesian pair check into final in Dubai

PETALING JAYA: Indonesian shuttlers Marcus Fernaldi Gideon-Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo are on the verge of winning their first world-level title after they stormed into the men’s doubles final at the World Superseries Finals.

The world No. 1 battled for 63 minutes to beat Takeshi Kamura-Keigo Sonoda of Japan 21-10, 18-21, 21-16 in the semi-finals at the Hamdan Sports Complex in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, yesterday.
